A wave of community support in the West for Choice

A wave of community support in the West for Choice

The Choice Homes ABA Pro Tour ventured to the west for the first stop for 2018 with the Good Earth West Oz Pro Presented By Bali Bodyboarding.

Blessed with a rare & solid north swell, the stacked draw saw some of Australia's best & International's go head to head in a weekend of hard fought battles.

With names like Lachie Cramsie, Joseph Clarke, Ryan Hardy, Kyle Ward & Hayato Enokido - one would think it would be easy to pick a winner?

However it was local talent Lee Wilson who fought his way through to the final to claim the bragging rights for the first ever ABA Event at Gas Bay.

A real treat for the local community was the free coaching for the kids proudly presented by Western Australia's favourite wave rider Ryan Hardy and the Woman's Expressions session.

Check out the Facebook Live feeds below to soak up all the fun in the sun on what was a fantastic weekend from beginners in the sport right up to the elite professional riders.

Next Stop - We head back east to the South Coast of NSW The SWS Mystics Pro Presented By OpenLIVE. Entry forms are available now on the ABA Website (all images images on this page are credited to the ABA Tour).

With a total of 77 floors this is a serious challenge but the view from the top of the observation level at SkyPoint made all the hard work worth it.
