Panel To Monitor SEQ Land Supply & Housing Demand
The Government is establishing a South East Queensland Housing Supply Expert Panel with the population in the region expected to exceed 5.3 million over the next 25 years.
The Panel would ensure that housing needs will keep pace with estimated growth, as part of a $5 million investment in land supply monitoring.
This population growth will require 794,000 extra dwellings over that time. The South East Queensland land data will ensure industry and all levels of government are accurately informed of land supply, housing demand and development information and can respond accordingly. Source: Friday Flyer
